Victor Alexander D.V.M. has been a lifelong horseman and an equine practitioner since 1981. He came to Oregon in 1997 to start a practice after working in Texas at a three doctor equine hospital where they provided surgery, critical care and ambulatory care for a variety of horses and disciplines. His practice philosophy is to provide high quality, cost effective care for the horses and peace of mind for the owners. He regularly volunteers his time for public speaking and horse owner education.
He believes that horses are just the most exceptional animal. They are big, massive athletes that are smart, can pack a person up and down a hill on their back in addition to showing affection and respond to you like a companion animal. He has dedicated his career to helping them achieve optimum wellness with preventive measures and taking care of the sick and injured.
He began his horse adventures as a kid where the whole family participated to keep busy while his dad was stationed in Vietnam. He has a variety of horse riding and gaming experiences. He and his brothers regularly did the play days or whats now referred to as gaming. While in high school and college he worked with his older cousin, an experienced horse trainer where he provided full care, breaking and training for reining, roping and cutting horses.
Dr. Alexander attended Texas A&M University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry. He earned a number of academic achievements and was member of the honor societies Phi Kappa Phi and Phi Zeta. He was also awarded the distinction of Undergraduate Fellow for his contribution to research done in the biochemistry lab at Texas A&M. Thereafter he worked in the School of Medicine Biochemistry Lab and attended vet school. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1981 and has been focused on equine care ever since.
In his free time he enjoys trail riding with the Skyline Trail Riders, working on his vehicles, playing with his boys and helping them learn to ride their pony Jenni. |

Tristin Morgan B.V.M.S, M.R.C.V.S has returned to her home state of Oregon after earning her veterinary degree from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, and an internship in Katy, Texas.
She grew up in Grants Pass, Oregon, and began showing Paints at a young age. She has shown in events ranging from western pleasure and horsemanship to working hunter and barrel racing. Her show career took her to the APHA World Championships in Fort Worth, Texas and to two Reserve World Championship titles at the 2001 PtHA World Show in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Even before her show career, following the unexpected death of her Appaloosa named Stubby, Tristin made the decision to dedicate herself to the professional care of horses. As a rider and an exhibitor, she has always held in high esteem the relationship that can be built between horse and rider when the two work together as a team. Tristin has recently bred and raised two Paint foals, Gracie and Hurley, both of whom she is looking forward to enjoying in the future. |
